Fellowships at the Institute

We offer occasional fellowships to the very best young historians with an interest in New Connective History. Email our office to be kept up-to-date on study opportunities as they arise.

Please note that due to demand we do not accept prospective CVs. If you have a specific project to discuss, please contact a member of our faculty who has interests relevant to your preferred topic.

Liverpool docks map

Why Liverpool?

We think our city is one of the best places to study and work on earth. With state-of-the-art archiving, library and information technology, the Knowledge Quarter is just a step away from the centre of Liverpool with its thriving artistic scene and internationally famous nightlife. Many abandoned buildings from the United Kingdom era are home to artists’ squats and community food projects, making life in the city a creative and exciting prospect.
